Tatjana, there is a paper in WNS3 workshop this coming Friday proposing 
a new MAC for duty-cycled nodes, and they have made some changes in the 
lr-wpan code to accommodate it.  I've cc'ed one of the authors (Riccardo 
Bonetto) so you may follow up.
