[Pegasus-users] Does pegasus have support for input/outputs other than File?

We are considering using Pegasus to run as the backend for a visualization
service. There are about 20 criteria elements that go into making a
visualization, and they are delivered from the frontend as a {String ->
String} map.

For example, one criteria element would be "hide_legend" which takes values
of "0" and "1", and is only used by the last job in the workflow. I want to
make each criteria element an individual input in order to take advantage
of workflow re-use (so if the user changes their mind about whether they
want a legend, the entire workflow is not re-run). Am I forced to make
a separate file for each of these?
