From nvf at gravity.phys.uwm.edu Sun Nov 11 14:53:34 2007 From: nvf at gravity.phys.uwm.edu (Nickolas Fotopoulos) Date: Sun, 11 Nov 2007 16:53:34 -0600 Subject: [Pegasus-support] Bug: $X509_USER_PROXY not respected Message-ID: To whom it may concern: I believe that I've found a bug in pegasus-plan. I am a LIGO grid user trying to run workflows across our clusters with pegasus. We use globus grid proxies for security. When I run pegasus-plan, it looks for the grid proxy file at /tmp/x509_u. Upon login, the initial login grid proxy is named quite differently, so I have to unset X509_USER_PROXY and generate a new one, which gets named according to the above scheme. My understanding is that the current behavior of not inspecting the environment for X509_USER_PROXY for the grid proxy location is a bug. Even if it's not, would you be willing to correct this?
