[ns] Problen in enabling hello packets...

Hello Friends,

Can anyone please help me how to recover my problem in enabling Hello
Packets using AODV protocol.
When i make changes in aodv.cc and recompile my ns2 with the following
commands, I'm getting these errors

$make clean
make: *** No rule to make target 'clean'. Stop.

$make
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

$sudo make install
bash: sudo: Command not found.

I'll be very thankful to you if you help me in rectifying this.
