[ns] duplicating packets at the middle of path

Hi every body

I want to receive a CBR packet at the middle of it's path and then duplicate it throw another node to another destination. To do that I declared a new agent at ns source code, and attached it to the middle path node in my tcl script,. In my agent code, I used from recv() function to duplicate the packet. but when I run my simulation, the rcv() function didn't call!
what I must to do. It's so important for me. Can anybody help me, please!!
