[ns] How to enable RTS/CTS mode on the fly?

Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea how to enable RTS/CTS mode on the fly? I
modified the 802.11 MAC in ns-2 and tried to value to activate or
deactivate RTS/CTS mode by changing the RTSThreshold value. However,
the test trace shows the MAC is always busy after the switch and keeps
dropping packets. I guess my change in the code may break the state
machine of MAC. I really appreciate if someone can shed light on this
problem.
