[ns] help about perl script to analyze trace file

Hello all,
I want to add some parameter in paper "performance comparision of tcp and cbr in maodv" for parameters like no of drop out packets and no .of successful connection, but I am fully unaware of perl script . If anybody have perl script then please send me.PLZ..PLZ.. help as early as possible.
