[ns] RTS/CTS in AODV UWB causing hidden terminal ?

Hello everyone,

I'm using the UWB module  here
http://uwb.epfl.ch/ns-2/installation.html


I noticed that in a node mesh in a multy hop transmission with AODV routing,
after 3-4 hop the link breaks and no more transmission is possible.


The .TR file its full of AODV REQUEST, wich means that the routing is stuck
trying to find a path to the destination node.


Since UWB use a different MAC layer, named IFcontrol....i was wondering
if  without RTS/CTS wich might not be implemented in UWB MAC,

AODV cant find path since might be affected by the hidden terminal problem.


i've tryed lowering the threshold to 500, but still no comunication after
few hops.  


Why does AODV suffer such behaviour while in 802.11 works fine?
