[ns] defining new variable

[SJ_b]

Hi
How can I define a new integer (public or protected)  in mac.h file or in
ll.h file in ns2.33.
Every initialization I get segmentation fault. Why it cannot allocate memory
to new integer.
I would really appriciate for any comments.
