[ns] error in installing ns-2.1b8

Hello..

  Am using Anders model for PCF.I tried patching up PCFsupport to ns-2.1b8
as given in the steps and i tried installing the ns.Got error lik dis...
tfrc.h:116: friend declaration requires class-key, i.e. `friend class
   TfrcSendTimer'
tfrc.h:117: friend declaration requires class-key, i.e. `friend class
   TfrcNoFeedbackTimer'
make: *** [trace.o] Error 1
Ns make failed!


Is this error due to improper patching or error while installing ns?Can you
help me in rectifying this error and to use PCF
