[ns] TCL string bind...is it possible?

Hi all,

I want to pass to my C++ code a string from the TCL script i use for
configuring the NS-2 simulation.

Is this possible? I saw that there are bind methods in the tclcl.h file
for doubles and integers but not for chars.
