Hello All,
hope you guys are doing fine.
When I simulate the smac protocol on top of GPSR (a routing protocol
for WNSs), I get the following output:
______________________
num_nodes is set 50
warning: Please use -channel as shown in tcl/ex/wireless-mitf.tcl
GPSR configuration file
INITIALIZE THE LIST xListHead
Loading connection pattern...
Loading scenario file...
Load complete...
Starting Simulation...
NOTE: SMAC is running with sleep-wakeup cycles on. Please make sure to
run yr applications AFTER the nodes get sync'ed which is about 40sec
for the default settings.
channel.cc:sendUp - Calc highestAntennaZ_ and distCST_
highestAntennaZ_ = 1.5, distCST_ = 144.4
SORTING LISTS ...DONE!
node 3 originating destination -1.000000 -1.000000
node 3 originating destination -1.000000 -1.000000
Segmentation fault

does anyone no Why the note appears and what it means exactly. I know
its related to the statements.
Mac/SMAC set syncFlag_ 1
Mac/SMAC set dutyCycle_ 10
if u assign syncFlag to 0 you won't get the message but something goes
wrong and u get segmentation fault
Any ideas of how to fix it and what they mean by ".. make sure to run
yr applications AFTER the nodes get sync'ed .."
Thanks Alot.
Mathiew :)
