Hello,
I am using NS 2.32 on ubuntu.
I need to know about the following:
1. If i set $topo load_flatgrid 5 5
and we know that the default range of nodes in ns2 is 250m and i define the
nodes coordinates as follows:
$node_(0) set X_ 0.0
$node_(0) set Y_ 0.0
$node_(0) set Z_ 0.0
$node_(1) set X_ 100.0
$node_(1) set Y_ 100.0
$node_(1) set Z_ 0.0
$node_(2) set X_ 200.0
$node_(2) set Y_ 200.0
$node_(2) set Z_ 0.0
Will the nodes communicate with each other? Any explanation?
2. What is the purpose of using flatgrid in ns2? Does it means that if we
set the coordinates of nodes out side this flat grid then will our nodes be
able to communicate?
3. The communication range of nodes is 250m. Does it means that we can
declare the nodes till 250 on x-axis and also 250 on y-axis?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
