[ns] How can i test step by step my C++ files

Hi!

I have been writting a code for implementing new protocol for 802.15.4 in
ns2, I want to test one by one that whether they are working or not. So my
question is that how this can be done (options). Also my question is all
tutorial docs have been telling is how to edit files for new agent....what
about a new mac protocol.
