[ns] Total newbie with ns-2 seeking for help with simulation

I have ubuntu 7.04 amd ns-2.31 installed properly and I should make a
following simulation...

1. Community buys ADSL connection from ISP for example Down 24Mbit/ UP 3Mbit
connection with only one public IP. LAN having subnet mask 255.255.0.0
2. LAN connections can be HomePNA, WLAN, Ethernet, Electricity, TV
cable...etc .. .OR mixture of any
3. Computers are divided to VLAN:s depending on their location by MAC
addresses as follows
  a) Each Virtual LAN will have it's own subnet mask 255.255.255.0 so in
each VLAN is regognized and it's computers origin by C part of IP addresses.
Clients will have static IPs. Still IP:s can be fetched from DHCP yet it
operates like BOOTP server. In simulation 3 VLANs wiyh multiple clients
should be enough.
  b) authentication is handled by 802.1x
4. For QoS there is DWRR scheduler in gateway. How to implement this?
5. Main consern is UPSTREAM when using P2P.  
6. There will be at least 4 runs. BE- connection from ISP With and without
any scheduler on LAN/WAN router
There will be at least 4 runs. connection with QoS SLA from ISP With and
without any scheduler on LAN/WAN router.

Where to start?
what would need to consider?
How to implemet schedulers?
What kind of traffic should it generate?
How can I measure jitter, dalay and throughput on each VLAN upstream and
downstream separetly?

And finally how on earth is this all done? ;)
