[ns] How to turn on/off wireless nodes

Hi all,

When simulating nodes in Mobile ad hoc networks, it is sometimes
desirable to turn on/off the wireless nodes (to be more precisely,
turn on/off the network interface card, so that packets will not be
received on almost all layers). However, I found that it is difficult
to implement this in NS2. I've tried to address the issue by adjusting
the radio range of nodes through "Phy/WirelessPhy set RXThresh_....",
but it seems that the radio range cannot be changed anymore after node
creation. I'v read up the previous discussions but none clue was
found. How should I tackle this problem? Thanks!
