[ns] Implementing a multi interface multi channel Routing Protocol in NS2

Hello,
I would like implement a routing protocol
for a multi-interface and multi-chanel Wireless Mesh Network.

Being a newbie in ns2 I don't know which would be the best strategy for 
beginning.

So, my question is if anyone has ported (or is porting) an existing routing 
protocol to any of the available multi-interface and/or multi-channel patches 
(Hyacinth, MW-Node, ns2-MIRACLE....). 

It would be nice if I could have an already implemented protocol in any of 
these patches to take as reference.

Any advice is welcome.
