[ns] problem concerning cxx

hello everybody
I have a problem concerning cxx
when i type make. the following is my code:
 
rania at rania-desktop:~$ cd ns-allinone-2.33
> rania at rania-desktop:~/ns-allinone-2.33$ cd ns-2.33
> rania at rania-desktop:~/ns-allinone-2.33/ns-2.33$ make
> make: CXX@: Command not found
> make: *** [common/packet.o] Error 127
> rania at rania-desktop:~/ns-allinone-2.33/ns-2.33$
