[ns] i need help

can you help me
to run asimulator NS2
i use it first
i has written aprogram in text editor and save it as "ex1.tcl"
but
when i run it by typing "ns ex1.tcl" in the shell
it say
       couldn't read file "exi.tcl"no such file or directory
i didn't understand what is this?
could you help me HOW TO USE NS2
i'am new to use NS2
