[ns] Error Control for Wired cum WIRELESS

Hello. I'm trying to model a typical Wired cum WIRELESS network and for that I want to  control the error rate. 
   
  How can i insert an error model into the simulation?. Can someone tell me how to do it? I havent got specific material from net.
