[ns] Modeling CPU power consumption

In this documentation for the new energy model in NS-2
(http://www.isi.edu/ilense/software/smac/ns2_energy.html), it is
mentioned that the energy model is generic enough to be extended to
other domains like CPU power consumption. I agree, and think this
would be a useful tool. Has anyone else implemented even a crude
extension of the energy model to track CPU power consumption?
