I think you should remove or delete or disable the following statment: # exec nam trace2.nam &
 
like my proc I used:
 
proc stop {} {    global ns_ tracefd namtrace throughFile    $ns_ flush-trace    close $tracefd    close $namtrace    close $throughFile       # exec nam trace2.nam &    exit 0}
