Hi All,

I am new to ns2 and trying to simulate following network,

Traffic from OLT to nodes is Multi cast (need not to simulate) and
from nodes to OLT is PTP
however they are sharing medium.I am trying to study upstream traffic
queues (at nodes which are marked red in diagram).

Lets assume that each PC attached with node1 to node 8 has to send
tcp/udp traffic and traffic is waiting in  buffer of the corresponding
node. Only one node can transmit at a given time and this grant is
assigned by OLT. Is it possible to simulate this scenario. We can
assign time slots manually. If yes than how to do this ?

I have to study queues, delay etc at nodes. Please help by giving suggestions.
