[ns] question on cbr

Dear All!    I have some question to ask for you help! when i use the CBQ flow to simulate in ns-2,I set the packet-size,set-rate and bandwidth.now I want to know the meaning of the rate ,the relation between the rate and the intervar.and how to calculate the total number of the packet belonging to the flow.    Would you please give me some suggestion about these problems    Thank you in advance!
