There are several ways to link C code against ns-2. You should have a look at Network Simulation Cradles (http://research.wand.net.nz/software/nsc.php), GEA (http://www-ivs.cs.uni-magdeburg.de/EuK/forschung/projekte/gea/index.shtml), or my own work at http://www.inf.fu-berlin.de/inst/ag-tech/scatterweb_net/software/ns2.html.
