[ns] How to calculate the distance at run time in C++ code.

HI friends,
                Can any one tell me how to use the functions defined in the God.h which is located in the mobile directory. I want to use void IsNeighbor(int i, int j); function in my code. I can modify this function to calculate the distance between the two node. 
                Or u can suggest me any other way to calculate the distance at run time in C++ code. 
                Your help is very usefull to me as i have to finish my project within this month.
