[ns] how to complete the Makefile for a new protocol?

Hello ns users!
 I'm working on the implementation of a new routing protocol and i want to modify the code for the DSDV protocol. I have made some changes and now i want to edit the Makefile by adding the object files inside the OBJ_CC variable. The problem is i can't find the OBJ_CC variable.... i have ns-2.29 on Mandriva. 
 How can i go on wih my work? Please tell me how to edit the Makefile. Any help will be apreciated. Thank you in advance!
