[ns] NS-2 allinone on cygwin installation problems...

I am having difficulty installing NS-2 and I was hoping someone may be able
to assist me...

 

I've downloaded the ns-allinone-2.2.9.3 tar file from Sourceforge and have
successfully completed installation of the latest version of cygwin.  I've
begun building ns-2 and all of the prerequisite checks have come back okay
(i.e. gcc, make, patch, perl, etc.).  Installation progresses for several
minutes until if gets to the point where it is trying to build tclcl-1.17
and I keep getting the same error message...

I've tried downloading the latest version of Tclcl 1.17 from sourceforge,
but that just changed the error type to something else.  

 

I've seen that other people have had a similar problem with their
installation but I couldn't find anything that said how to correct this and
complete installation.  Any assistance anyone could provide would be greatly
appreciated.
