[ns] Aodv_Basic Questions

hieee,
i'm new to NS-2. i'm working on AODV. i'd like to know answers to few 
questions, the questions may appear to b silly...but as i'm a novice kindly 
help.

1) Are the Hello packets transmitted by all the nodes in the network or only 
the nodes that are part of active routes?

2) Why is the AODV_Neighbours class present in AODV? i mean what is the 
purpose of maintaining the neighbours list? where is it used in the code?

3) How can i get the power value of a Hello packet?
