Hi all,
I am working about the transmission power in wireless network. I am also
using shadowing propagation model
with transmission power = 0.2818 Watt, which provides 250m communication
range. The other mapping between
transmission power and range are
//From wireless-phy.cc
// Pt_ = 8.5872e-4; // For 40m transmission range.
// Pt_ = 7.214e-3; // For 100m transmission range.
// Pt_ = 0.2818; // For 250m transmission range.
This is the model of AT&T's Wavelan PCMCIA card. However, I would like to
map each transmission power with
the transmission rate , such as 54, 11, 5,2,1 Mbps,etc. Can I do that? Do
you know the reference of this default
power (0.2818)? Any suggestions and hints are welcome.
Thank you in advance,
Sincerely,
Chakkaphong S.
