[ns] help with udp packets

Hello,
I have a setup of 25 nodes and a single sink. I am using AODV as my
routing protocol. udp packets are sent at regular intervals from the nodes
to the sink. Can someone clarify the following for me:

1. There is no packet id or mac address - how can i track packets to
calculate delay/throughput?
2. I see AODV requests from nodes and AODV reply from sink. But I do not
see a udp packet being received by the sink. So how do I know data reached
the sink?
3. Since there is no destination set (Hd = -2), I cannot trace the path
taken by a packet either. Can anyone shed any light?
