[ns] Modeling Two-way phone calls

Dear ns users,

I am trying to model a two-way phone call. I know a one-way call can be modeling using a two-state Markov chain where one state representing talking and the other representing silence.

In a two-way call, however, mututal silence and mutual talking needs to be taken into account. Hence, it cannot be modeled by using two two-state chains one at for the callers and one for the callee. In other words, synchronization between the two parties is needed.

Wonder if any of you is familiar with modeling two-way calls.

Any help would be appreciated.
