Add these lines to the start of your TCL script, this changes the
defaults that are set in the ~ns/tcl/lib/ns-default.tcl file.

Agent/DSDV set be_random_	0.3;#  default is 1
Agent/DSDV set wst0_		0.3;#  default is 6
Agent/DSDV set perup_		0.3;#  default is 15
Agent/DSDV set alpha_         0.875;#default is 0.875

By default DSDV takes over 60 secs before data is sent between one node
and the other. Why its so long I don't know. These values mean it'll
take approx 1 sec for the packets to start.
