[ns]Problem compiling EDCF in ns 2.26

Hello!
I don't if it's just plain bad luck...but
I am trying to install TKN EDCF protocol for ns 2.26,
from http://www.tkn.tu-berlin.de/research/802.11e_ns2/

and i followed the instructions in the README file. I
run ./configure, and it works.But when i run make
clean; make depend; make, I get this error:

Makefile:72: *** commands commence before first
target.  Stop.

(barca at linux:~/ns-allinone-2.26/ns-2.26> make depend
Makefile:72: *** Befehle beginnen vor dem ersten Ziel.
 Schluss.

I get that for all the makes....
Can anyone tell me what is the problem? I know this
code is SUPPOSED to work in ns-2.26, but yet it isn't
compiling at all in my computer.

i am using gcc-Version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
