[ns] Query on how to implement packet aggregation!

Hi all,
 
I want to implement packet aggregation in the wireless simulations in ns-2.  That is, in the ad hoc network simulations, i want to aggregate all those packets (at the MAC layer level) that are going to the same next hop and send them together so as to reduce the overhead incurred in the network. Can anyone please tell me which files need to be modified for acheiving this and how complex is this task? Any idea is grately appreciated. Thanks in advance.
