Hi, you need to put this in the file .bash_profile (see it in your home directory, open a console and execute ls -al so you edit the file)

#NS_ROOT_DIR is the directory where you install NS



NS_ROOT_DIR=/home/ns-allinone-2.27

 

export PATH=$NS_ROOT_DIR/bin:$NS_ROOT_DIR/tcl8.4.5/unix:$NS_ROOT_DIR/tk8.4.5/unix:$PATH

 

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:$NS_ROOT_DIR/otcl-1.8:$NS_ROOT_DIR/lib

 

export TCL_LIBRARY=$TCL_LIBRARY:$NS_ROOT_DIR/tcl8.4.5/library
