[ns] Virtual Clock and scheduler in NS

Hi all,

I am a new NS user, and I am trying to simulate a simple network using 
Virtual Clock scheduler and integrating them in Diffserv architecture. It
involves calculating current simulation time and scheduling when the
packet will be transmitted from a node/a router. My question is how can I
access the imformation about the current simulation time and passing the
value into my simulation object? Is it possible that I run some background
program that keep tracks of the simulation time, because in my opinion,
that's how a scheduler works. Also, how can I use this scheduler in a
DiffServ environment?Is there any documentation about this, or maybe a
sample script?
