[ns] How to measure energy

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to NS2 and have only started since april this year.

At the moment Iam trying to view the energy in sleep,recieve and transmitt
mode for the 802.11 protocol.

I have tried using the examples provided in wireless-newnode-energy.tcl
but i get the following...

After this I try opening nam but nothing shows under energy.nam

can someone guide me to what I am doing wrong.
