[ns] Remove Headers

Hello,


To optimise the simulation runtime for directed diffusion ,  i use the 
folowing commands in my TCL file ....
remove-all-packet-headers
add-packet-header IP

i was waiting that i get an  exception because ive not added the MAC , LL 
headers and Common headers (cmn header )...but the simulation runs without 
any prob ...how can we explain that !!!!!.... I've verified in the source 
code of directed diffusion that 
/home/NS-install/ns-allinone-2.27/ns-2.27/diffusion3/ns/diffrtg.cc uses 
information of CMN headers !!!

do u have any explanation about that !!!
