Disable all level traces using node-config:
$ns node-config -agentTrace OFF \
                 -routerTrace OFF \
                 -macTrace OFF \
                 -movementTrace OFF \
                 -eotTrace OFF

Przemek

Subject: [ns] How to disable tracing?

Hello,

I've a question that I hope is not too stupid, but I couldn't find anything
about on the net.
I want to run a simulation of a wireless network using a Power Control
Module provided by my faculty, but that doesn't matter anyway. The thing is,
this module provides its own tracing and makes general tracing unnecessary
for me, so I want to disable it. But when I don't use a "trace-all" or
"trace-queue" expression, I get a lot of errors in ns2.
My simulation has to run quite long and the trace files become rather big
(too big for my university disk-quota anyway). So is there a possibility not
to trace?

Thanks,
