[ns] wireless Energy

hi,

were can i find more information regarding the use of energy modelling for
ad-hoc networks (802.11 or SMAC) iv had a look already in the ns-manual
and ns for beginners(loads of useful stuff for mobile networks), but not
enough on energy modelling...ive also tried the tcl/ex and tcl/test, iv
found the the wireless-newnode-energy.tcl but need to understand how it
works first (iv also found the header files for energy modelling)

plus can someone help me whats the difference between set val(xxx) and set
opt(xxx) ,is it just that one is for simplicity and the other is more
complex ?  (sorry just trying to get my head round all these examples)

any help would be deeply appreciated (links,tips or any knowledge)
