[ns] How create a new satlink type?

Dear all users (in trouble like me or not...)

I would like to create a new type of satellite link
(e.g.: ISL_IOL) with new conditions of handoff, but I
don't know what classes must be modified.

I thought to satellite/sathandoff.cc and
satellite/satlink.cc but I don't know all the
dependencies (in fact i'm not sure to have found where
the satellite links are defined...) Anyone has an
idea?

I would be interested too if you know where I could
find the way to compile correctly my modifications...


And some little questions to finish:
Do you know if some kind of DVB protocols (S or RCS)
is already developed and available for ns2?

Is there a way to specify the modulation scheme on the
link? Does it exit some maximum limit rate on the
satellite links simulated with ns? I mean, is a 300
Mbps bandwith possible? 

I know it's a lot of questions but it will be great if
you could help me.
