[ns] modifying 802.11 MAC

Hi,

I am trying to modify the working of 802.11 MAC to
send more than 2 packets in a single channel setup. I
am trying to see how I can check if one more packet is
available for a node B when I am sending the first
DATA packet to node B. 

I dont understand how I can do this in the recv()
function. 
I am very new to NS. If anyone has any experience with
this, please help.
