Did you have some idea on how to solve your problem in your following email you sent in feb: 
 
--"Has anyone tried to implement a p2p application in NS2 ? Something like
mulitcasting packets in P2P environment. I have to implement Yoid(tree
based P2P system) in NS2. Any ideas on how to proceed with simulating
P2P stuff on NS2. ?"
