[ns] URGENT @ missing library

Hi
I tried to run ./ns from my ns-2.26 directory, when I
got the following error message:-

Error loading shared libraries : 
  libotcl.so : cannot open shared object file:No such 
  file or directory.

So then I issued "ldd ns" which gave me another
message
on line 1 of the output

     libotcl.so ==> not found

Does anybody have a clue as to what is going on ?? How
do I provide for this missing library ?
