[ns] "on fly" packet delay calculation

Hi there,

What I mean by "on fly" is that I would like to keep track on the packet 
delay during the simulation, not after. I have seen the pearl/awk/C(++) 
programs to analyse the trace file, but sometimes my trace file grows even 
larger than 2 GB that would also cause a problem with the file system.

I have read in few posts that one could "hack" LossMonitor such that you can 
use TCL to keep records on packet delays. I am wondering if anyone still had 
the modfied .h/.cc file somewhere or could give some hint on the 
implementation?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
