Hi, all,
I have a question about wireless routing.
I want to simulate an infrastructure based 802.11 wireless LAN,
but I do not know what 'adhocRouting' I should use in ns node-config
option. There are a number of routing agents in ns, but only 4 of
them, DSSV, DSR, TORA, AODV, are documented. These four are used for
adhoc routing. However, there are some other routing agents in
ns2.27/tcl/lib/ns-lin.tcl:
DIFFUSION/RATE
DIFFUSION/PROB
Directed_Diffusion
FLOODING
OMNIMCAST
DumbAgent //for test
Is anyone know what they mean? Mobile nodes in infrastructure mode
802.11 WLAN use PCF (point coordinated function) intead of DCF
(distributed coordinated function), but I did not find the
corresponding protocol in ns documents. Who can tell me if it has
been implemented?
Thanks a lot!
