[ns] recompile of ns2

Dear All,

Please help me on the following issue-

I am using ns2 1b8a. There is no 'make' file in the
ns-2.ab8a/bin directory. How can I recompile my ns2 to
see the effect of changing C++ codes. Do I need to run
the 'install' program to recompile it?
