Currently i'm working on wireless tcp.
I think, tcp layer only cares whether the data it received is correct rather than the underlying transmission medium. So there is no difference for tcp layer, if a wired link has the same BER as a wireless link. Is this correct?
Usually, there is a good state and a bad state for wireless link. So I try to use the TwoStateMarkov error model to simulate the 2 states. Can anyone give me any suggestion on how to insert TwoStateMarkov into a wireless link(actually no link is created in tcl scripts) or a wired link(if my above idea is correct)?
Is there an another way to simulate such a lossy wireless link?
Thank u very much!

a wired link won't provide the correct model for your transmission medium.
I suggest doing a search on Rayleigh fading
