[ns] regarding graph generation

hello everybody,
 
      i have doubts regarding generating graphs in ns2. how do we analyse the trace file and generate the various graphs????? for ex. to draw packet delivery ratio versus simulation time [or node speed], what columns we should consider in the trace file and generate graphs????? 
 
      i hope many of u know about this. please help me as soon as possible.
